You should always check with your local AHJ (authority having jurisdiction), such as your city or county/parish government for any special regulations that may apply to your area.

Generally speaking, you can fly most Estes model rockets in large, open park grounds or school grounds, such as football and soccer fields. Make sure that the launch pad is not near dry grass or weeds.
